Celebrating 175 Years of Polk County!

In December of 2026, Polk County proudly celebrates 175 years of history, community, and growth. To mark this milestone, we are inviting local high school students to help shape our celebration by creating a commemorative art piece that will represent Polk County’s legacy and future.

One student’s artwork will be selected to serve as the official commemorative design for Polk County’s 175th anniversary—a lasting tribute created by the next generation of artists.
