Probate Court

The office of the Probate Court provides a variety of services, including but not limited to issuing marriage licenses, weapons carry licenses, maintaining vital records for Polk County, administering misdemeanor traffic court and probate procedures such as probate of wills, administrations and guardianships of minors and adults.  See below for more detailed information regarding these matters.  Please do not hesitate to contact our office if we can be of assistance.


MARRIAGE LICENSE APPLICATION
If you are US Citizen, you must have with you a valid picture ID (Driver's License or Passport) to obtain a Marriage License. If you are not a US Citizen, you must provide a Certified Copy of your Birth Certificate, including certified translations if produce in languages other than English. If you spouse has passed away, you must bring a copy of the death certificate.
If you have been divorced, you must also have a copy of your divorce decree.

  • 11-14MPH OVER - $125
  • 15-18MPH OVER - $145, 2 POINTS
  • 19-23MPH OVER - $180, 3 POINTS
  • 24-33MPH OVER - $275, 4 POINTS
  • 34-37MPH OVER - $350, 6 POINTS
  • 38+MPH OVER - $495, 6 POINTS
