Lindsay Jones Named Employee of the Month - April 2025

Lindsay has been employed by Polk County E-911 for nearly 4 years, where she currently serves as a Shift Supervisor. E-911 Director, Tandra Owens, says, “Lindsay has always been a hard worker and dedicated employee. However, the way that she responded to the results of the severe weather event that occurred mid-March is certainly deserving of recognition. I received numerous calls from Polk County Fire-Rescue members and Public Works Director, Dion Senn, praising Lindsay for her efforts during the storm. Lindsay never let the volume of calls overwhelm her or the team and managed dispatch and response efforts with ease and efficiency. Keeping calm is essential in emergency response and a key trait in being a great communications officer.
