National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week

In commemoration, the National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week Proclamation was read by Commissioner Linda Liles at the April 1st Commission Meeting. We recognize that emergencies can occur at any time. When an emergency does occur, the incredible team at Polk County E-911 is the first line of defense in ensuring the safety of everyone involved. We cannot overstate the importance of this vital role and sincerely thank each dispatcher for exhibiting compassion and understanding as they serve as such critical points of contact.
