2025 Employee of the Year
The Polk County Board of Commissioners believes in recognizing employees that go above and beyond while making a positive impact in the workplace. In celebration of these hardworking individuals, the Board of Commissioners created the annual Employee of the Year award to honor a designated employee who has been recognized by their coworkers for their exceptional morale and dedication to the citizens of Polk County.
Ms. Dye, who was honored as Employee of the Month in March of 2025, has worked for Polk County since November of 2018 and currently serves as the Assistant Probation Officer. Katie is regarded by her peers as a kind-hearted, compassionate, and devoted individual and we are incredibly honored to recognize her selfless contributions to the betterment of our community.
