It is the mission of the Polk County Police Department to ensure the safekeeping of human life and protection of public property, to maintain an environment suited to the equal administration of the law, as well as an optimum level of preparedness. PCPD Divisions
Drug Agents are responsible for receiving and answering complaints pertaining to drug activities of individuals and locations targeting mid to high level illegal narcotic distribution networks and organizations within the Polk County community.
Detectives within this division provide follow up investigation on reports of crime against persons or property. The Criminal Investigations Division is committed to regulating and eradicating theft, burglary, homicide, and suicide cases within the county.
Officers within our Patrol division provide 24-hour police protection of life and property. Providing incident and accident reports, performing keep checks of requested properties, and enforcement of local, state, and federal criminal and motor vehicle laws.
